About
Problem Statement
College students and young professionals are struggling with increasing levels of stress and mental health challenges.
However, there is a gap in tailored resources and support systems related to pressures associated with academic pursuits and the early stages of professional careers.
Impact
The goal of MindHeaven is to empower young adults with knowledge and support to effectively manage their mental health, and leading to improved well-being, academic success, and professional growth. By normalizing the conversation around mental health, MindHeaven also aim to reduce the stigma in these environments.

Usability Issues Identified
• Assessment Button Overlooked: Users often missed the “Take Assessment” button and went to the “Discover” page instead.
• Dropdown Menu Glitchy: The navigation dropdown was distracting and had visual issues.
• Unclear Button Text: The text for the assessment button was too long and didn’t stand out.
• Podcast Page Confusion: Users weren’t sure when the page switched to podcasts due to lack of cues.
• Broken or Missing Links: Some clickable elements in the podcast section were not functional.
Design Iteration • Remove Distracting Elements
“I feel like there are too much information on this page and it was a little distracting...”
“Maybe too many similar choices, I found it hard to decide which one is the right path...”
Hick's Law: The time it takes to make a decision increases with the number and complexity of choices.
We expand and rearranged the content so the user won’t be frustrate by the overcrowd choices option.
Modification: Delete overwhelm information, and be more focused and clear
